Microsoft Windows Vista support ends April 11th 2017 | itechlink.co.uk

What does it mean if Windows isn’t supported?

When Microsoft Windows Vista support ends it will no longer receive software updates from Windows Update. These updates include security updates that can help protect your PC from harmful viruses, spyware, and other malicious software which can steal your personal information. Windows Update also installs the latest software updates to improve the reliability of Windows—such as new drivers for your hardware.

Q: When does Microsoft Windows Vista support ends?

A: April 11th 2017 (click here for more info)

If your version of Windows is still supported, you should always be sure to install the latest updates or service packs for Windows. You can download and install these through Windows Update.

Q: Will I still be able to use Microsoft Windows Vista after support ends?

A: Yes, even if you have an unsupported version of Windows XP or Windows Vista, Windows will continue to start and run although it’s not Recommended to do any financial dealings over the internet as the browsers we use are also no longer supported meaning they do not have the latest security releases installed, leaving you vulnerable to attacks.
